What does the Board of Education actually do?

The board's role is governance: keeping our schools aligned with our community. It has three main jobs:

1. Reviews and approves the budget.

   These are our property taxes, and our kids' resources.

2. Sets district policy and represents our values.

   A bridge to parents and residents on how our schools operate.

3. Hires and supports the superintendent.

   The leader responsible for our schools.

What do I want to accomplish?

• Make sure every dollar we spend helps students learn

• Grow the programs our families actually use

• Bring in more money from grants and partners, not just property taxes

Why am I running?

• Father of three and a Certified Public Accountant with 15 years of experience

• Audited one of New Jersey's largest school districts

• Running for one of three open seats to add my experience and skill set to the board

• One goal: more of every dollar reaching our classrooms and our students
